// VEHICLE-MOUNTED SHELTERS
Vehicle-mounted rooftop shelters
The most interesting part of a vehicle is no longer necessarily under its hood. For the cyber nomad, it may be the home waiting above it. AutoYurt puts that idea on the roof: a low-profile, aerodynamic longbow deployment system intended to turn the journey into somewhere you can actually stay. Any Vehicle. Anywhere. A Larger Tomorrow. That is the invitation, not another weekend accessory.
Rooted in Mongolian ger architecture, the AutoYurt concept pairs an electro-pneumatic frame with a fold-out shelter shell. The ambition is immediate and human: arrive, open up, reclaim the evening. In the WOWLS universe, the natural companion is the Minghan-Class all-electric tactical nomad buggy, where expedition mobility and a place to belong share the same silhouette.

A longbow above the roofline
AutoYurt begins in travel mode, secured within an aerodynamic cover on rooftop rails. Its design sequence moves through longbow activation, pneumatic frame expansion and shell unfurling before reaching the instant campsite. High-strength arms and an insulated, weather-resistant fabric enclosure are the architecture behind the promise: less wrestling with camp, more time inhabiting the landscape.
The universal-mount ambition embraces cars, SUVs, trucks and performance platforms. Actual fit belongs to the vehicle, rack and eventual mounting specifications; a beautiful roofline is not a load rating. That distinction makes the proposition stronger, because a shelter worth wanting should fit the expedition rather than demand an entirely different life.

The ger becomes a cyber-nomad room
A Mongolian ger is a compelling reference because portable dwelling is not a new human desire. AutoYurt translates that inheritance through modern deployment rather than treating the steppe as decoration. Its modular interior is envisioned for sleeping, working and living, allowing the same enclosure to change purpose as the day changes light.
Picture a stationary work session after the morning drive, then a cleared interior as the horizon goes copper. Solar-ready exterior panels and insulated layers sit within the design brief, giving the room a practical direction beyond a mattress above traffic. Connectivity remains a separate arrangement, but the workspace itself can begin with a better idea of shelter.

Minghan carries the wider expedition
The Minghan-Class brings the vehicle side into focus: a lightweight tubular exoskeleton, interchangeable composite door panels and an instant-torque electric drivetrain. Its optional AutoYurt integration gives the machine a destination beyond arrival. The buggy carries the nomad; the ger gives the nomad somewhere to pause, think and build.
That pause deserves its own equipment language. The Field Gear division presents the Pack-Leader Headlamp, Nomad Multitool and Expedition Hard-Case as part of its waitlist collection. Provisions adds the Transbaikal Frontier Drip Coffee Kit and Steppe Forager Pack, also on waitlist. These are invitations to shape a coherent camp, not claims of an expedition already supplied.
Claim a place in the next camp
WOWLS Asia provides the closest cultural bridge, with regional nodes for Mongolia, China and Japan and a partner structure built around continental Tumen command, country-level Minghan operators and local pack teams. For potential partners, AutoYurt makes the lifestyle visible: mobility, habitat and identity meeting at one memorable campsite.
The next move is on the AutoYurt page: read the architecture, imagine the vehicle setup and select Join the AutoYurt Waitlist. This is the reservation-minded first step the page offers, not a checkout for a finished habitat. Part Wolf. Part Owl. All WOW. Bring the spirit today through the shop, and put your name behind More Places Human.
Can AutoYurt turn my current vehicle into a mobile home?
AutoYurt is designed around a universal vehicle-mount ambition, with a rooftop longbow system and a modular interior for sleeping, working and living. Your actual vehicle and rack still need suitable mounting and load specifications. The strongest starting point is the AutoYurt page, where the deployment sequence, insulated shell and solar-ready direction are explained together. Join the AutoYurt Waitlist there to express interest in a future vehicle-based habitat, including the optional Minghan-Class pairing.
