TECHNICAL DEFINITION

An Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) is an electronic data interchange (EDI) message or document sent by a supplier to a customer, detailing the contents of a shipment, including product identifiers, quantities, lot numbers, and estimated time of arrival, facilitating efficient receiving.

BACKGROUND

The People's Republic of China (PRC) has a developing socialist market economy, incorporating industrial policies and strategic five-year plans.
