// RECENT ACTIVITY

// WOWL ASSESSMENT

World Innovation Lab backs enterprise software and infrastructure plays with a 6-company portfolio concentrated in 2017-2019 vintage bets. The fund holds DataRobot ($6.3B), Unqork ($2.0B), and Auth0 (now Okta-owned zombie) — three poster children of late-cycle enterprise valuations that never justified their marks. One in six bets worked, one in three actively failed, leaving a portfolio frozen in the 2021 markup moment with no credible path to liquidity at claimed valuations.

DataRobot at $6.3B is a mark-to-myth asset — the company has not validated that valuation through revenue growth or exit attempts. Unqork sits at $2.0B despite minimal enterprise adoption beyond pilot programs. Auth0 sold to Okta but became a ZOMBIECORN post-acquisition, suggesting the exit did not validate the pre-deal pricing. Mercari represents the lone public exit, trading well below its private peak. The 16.7% hit rate signals poor pattern recognition — the fund could not distinguish genuine enterprise demand from pilot theater.

// THREAT LEVEL: BLOATED

VERDICT: A 6-company portfolio dominated by three overvalued enterprise software bets is a concentration trap disguised as conviction investing.

// WHY WOWLS WATCHES

The fund's deployment pattern — enterprise AI and no-code platforms at bubble valuations — represents the precise category where markdowns will cascade first. DataRobot and Unqork are leading indicators for the entire late-stage enterprise software repricing cycle.
