Zoox built a symmetrical electric vehicle with four-wheel steering, drive-by-wire controls, and sensor arrays at both ends — enabling bidirectional travel without the vehicle needing to turn around. The autonomy stack uses lidar, radar, and cameras fused through proprietary perception models trained on urban driving data.
