Tradeshift built a cloud-based supply chain platform that digitizes invoicing, procurement, and supplier collaboration — turning paper-based B2B workflows into API-connected networks. The core insight was sound: enterprise procurement was still running on PDFs and email in 2010, and someone needed to fix it. The problem is that SAP, Oracle, and Workday reached the same conclusion and had the ERP install base to execute it faster.

The company raised over $900M across multiple rounds between 2010 and 2021, peaked at a $2.7B valuation during the zero-rate fintech boom, and has been conspicuously quiet since.
