Paxos built regulated blockchain settlement rails that bridge traditional finance and crypto markets — institutional-grade custody, real-time tokenized asset settlement, and fully-reserved stablecoins backed by US Treasuries and cash. The technology works exactly as designed: transparent, audited, compliant. The problem is that none of those qualities matter when Tether operates with zero transparency at 10x scale and Circle moves faster without New York's regulatory overhead.
